TWPG Strengthens Leadership as USMC Accepts Latest Watercraft

The Whiskey Project Group (TWPG) is expanding globally, highlighted by the USMC's acceptance of four Whiskey Bravo reconnaissance craft, exceeding US naval standards. TWPG has established a new 50-acre US headquarters and manufacturing hub in North Carolina, expected to create over 50 jobs. To support this growth and its partnerships with the USMC and ADF, TWPG has appointed Leisha Johnstone as COO and Paul McGauley as Head of Supply Chain at its Sydney headquarters, bringing significant defense sector and supply chain expertise to scale operations and enhance global delivery of their advanced tactical watercraft.

TWPG to locally build two new landing craft for Navy

The Whiskey Project Group (TWPG) has been selected to build two new Landing Craft Light (LCL) for the Royal Australian Navy’s ADV Reliant. The aluminium vessels offer greater speed and capability, supporting local jobs and supply chains. Construction begins in August 2024, with delivery set for early 2025.

TWPG delivers first two Australian-made Whiskey Bravo watercraft to US Marine Corps

Australian specialist and tactical watercraft manufacturer, The Whiskey Project Group (TWPG), has successfully delivered the first two (2) 11-metre Whiskey Bravo – Multi Mission Reconnaissance Craft (MMRC), to the United States Marine Corps (USMC) at the Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Pendleton, in Southern California.
The vessels have been accepted by the Marine Corps War Fighting Lab (MCWL) and are being used extensively by the reconnaissance Marines to host and trial a number of different mission payloads.
